Course Outline
Module 1
This Module begins with an introduction to the demo used during the course followed by a discussion on understanding function block basics. Next, the student will become familiar with the basic Boolean logic instructions in FBD. Function Block editing is covered and then students will be able to select, configure and interpret compare and math instructions. To conclude the module, timer and counter instructions used in FB are covered.

Module 2
This module begins with the basics of structured text followed by the if..then conditionals in the structured text language. Students will learn to create and evaluate case statements and to recognize and evaluate loop constructs. Timers and counters in ST are discussed concluding the module.

Module 3
This module begins with discussions of the SFC Basics and Editing. The student will learn to create, understand and control steps in the SFC. Next, the student will learn to create, understand and use SFC Actions. To conclude the module, the student will be able to use SFC Forcing.
